The State Audit Service of Ukraine met with the EU-OECD/SIGMA mission 28 February 2019

On February 25, 2019 SAS’s representatives met with SIGMA experts mission: Johannes Vroliyk and Ruslana Rudnitskaya.

The meeting was organized to review the state of implementation of the actions envisaged by the subsection "State Financial Control" of section ІІІ "Ensuring Effective Execution of the Budget" of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Public Finance Management Strategy for 2017-2020, approved by the Resolution of the CMU dated 24 May 2017 No. 415-p, in the context of strengthening of the SAS institutional capacity on conducting of public financial audits (specialized audits) and increasing of the efficiency of financial inspection.

During the discussion on the progress achieved by the SAS in the sphere of reforming of the public financial control system, the participants identified possible directions for further development and improvement of the SAS’s activity within the framework of the authorities implementation determined by the legislation of Ukraine.


SIGMA programme (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) — is considered to be one of the most prestigious analytical centers of the European Union that was launched to help Central and Eastern European countries to modernize public administration systems. This Programme provides a significant assistance to the candidate countries in their entering for the EU membership.
