At the initiative of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine (EUD), on May 25, 2020 a multilateral online meeting of the State Audit Service with European colleagues was held in order to discuss the development of public financial control. Martin Klaucke, Alexandra Janovskaia, Philippe Bertrand from the EUD, Brian Finn and Joop Vrolijk from the OECD SIGMA Programme, and Olga Chilat from the Support Group to Ukraine participated in this meeting.

Martin Klaucke, Head of Operations Section of the EUD, and Brian Finn, Senior Adviser from the OECD SIGMA Programme, congratulated Gennadii Plis on behalf of their colleagues on his appointment as Chairman of the SAS and expressed their readiness to support our institution in its reformation.

Gennadii Plis presented draft strategy of the Service's development to the participants of the meeting. He also briefly outlined the priority areas of the activity where support of the international experts is desired.

Reaffirming their common willingness for further cooperation, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue at the working level and to hold another online meeting in a month in order to identify detailed actions for cooperation.
