Introduction of internal control at the regional level supported by Holland experts is going on 24 September 2010

On 21st September 2010 representatives of the MainCRO greeted Holland delegation within the framework of Program of the Project of International Cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands concerning assistance of the MainCRO in introducing internal control in Ukraine at the regional level.

The Netherlands was presented by Mrs. Regine Doornbos-Neyt, Mr. Joost Staffhors, Mr. Bas Verberne, Mr. Manfred van Kesteren, Kateryna Tushynska, Mr. Jan van Tuinen and Ms. Ruslana Rudnytska from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine. In their turn, Deputy Head of the MainCRO Olena Chechulina, representatives of the CHU Maksim Tymohin, Tatyana Borovkova and Volodymyr Leshchenko, and also representatives of the of International Division Inna Tyhomyrova and Iryna Garbuz were presented at the meeting from the MainCRO.

Olena Chechulina opened the meeting and emphasized on the importance of supporting of advancement of reforms in the sphere of public internal financial control in Ukraine by European Community and presented current results of implementation of bilateral Project. In response to this Holland experts Mr. Jan van Tuinen and Mr. Manfred van Kesteren shared their opinion concerning efficient introduction of internal control at the regional level in Ukraine.

In the course of her speech Mrs. Tetyana Borovkova covered in detail the main components according to which the Project is implemented, she presented achievements and results of its implementation, separately stopped on the main provisions of the draft Strategy of training of personnel for introduction of the system of internal control and establishment of services of internal audit in authorities of the public and communal sector of Ukraine for the period of 2011-2017, developed during bilateral cooperation.      

At the end of the meeting participants discussed perspectives of development of internal control and internal audit in Ukraine and also possible directions and forms of the future cooperation beyond the scope of present-day Project. Summing up Parties defined the next steps for the nearest perspective, expressed their satisfaction with current results and readiness for further fruitful cooperation.
